Faculty Night Out-- SGA students gave the teachers at FPC a night out by providing free baby sitting for their children.

Dinner with Santa
For a $3 admission community members were able to enjoy a spaghetti dinner with Santa and his Helpers. There were picture opportunities and crafts for the kids. All proceeds purchased grocery gift cards for struggling families.

A committee of students helped with the STUFF Bus project by initiating a challenge between the Departments. The group of teachers that collected the most stuff for the bus was rewarded with a 'home' cooked breakfast.

Congratulations to Kayla Wells for winning a Lap Top in the 1st 9-weeks drawing of the Brighthouse-Daytona Dodge Education Challenge.
To enter future drawings students simple need to bring their report cards with A's and B's to Daytona Dodge. One winner is selected every 9-weeks (lap top) and at the end of the year, 1 student from each Flagler and Volusia High School will be given the chance to win a 2010 Jeep.

Junior Michelle Behling wins the Voice of Democracy Essay Contest.
The VFW sponsors a speech/essay contest every November. Students must submit a 3-5 minute taped speech on the year's theme. Flagler County is lucky enough to have a very generous VFW post that gives cash prizes to the top 5 winning essays.

Senior Vincent Scerbo was chosen as the 2009-2010 DAR Good Citizen.
The Daughters of this American Revolution sponsor a scholarship/Award every year. Teachers are asked to nominate seniors who exhibit good character and patriotism. The top 3 nominees are put on a ballot and the senior class selects their DAR Good Citizen.
