May 5                    SAT Testing, guidance office and 200 building classrooms 7am set-up testing from 8am-1pm

May 9   Yearbook release date, senior signing at 8am all other grade levels during lunches

May 23  Baccalaureate (combined with MHS) 7pm service at Santa Maria Del Mar Catholic Church (9th St north in Flagler Beach).  Staff members will be asked to contribute a dessert for the reception that follows.

 

May 24  Spotlight on Youth Talent Show, auditorium

May 26   FFA Banquet6pm dining hall

May 28         Holiday, No School

May 30   Graduation Practice, 1-2:30 in the 800 gym

May 31        Graduation, 7pm at the Ocean Center

June 1          No Referral (all year) rewards event

June 1         Germany exchange students leave… return June 17

June 2         SAT Testing,

June 5      Full day but modified bell schedule for exams -- tests periods 1 and 2 then attend periods 3 and 4 for review

June 6     Early release day – tests period 3 and attend period 5 for review

June 7  Early release day – tests periods 4 and 5

BrightHouse-Dodge Education Challenge is entering it's 3rd year...  Students earn entries by earning GOOD GRADES... entries are chances to win computers (each 9 weeks) and a BRAND NEW CAR at the end of the school year.  The second 9 weeks deadline is Feb 10th.  Pick up a registration form in the FPCHS activities office and bring your report card to the Auto Mall on LPGA

Extra Curricular Activities
Are PRIVLEDGES and must be earned

In order to participate in activities such as
Homecoming, Prom, Grad Bash
(and any other school sponsored extracurricular event)

Students must BE ON TRACK TO GRADUATE

meaning they must have a 2.0 cumulative GPA
and have no more 10 unexcused absences

 

 

   In the Spotlight

The PSA [Photographic Society of America] is the largest photo group in the world and every year they run a high school competition called the Youth Showcase.  This is a very prestigious photography competition.  The local PSA chapter chooses local winners and then sends them to the national competition where we've had numerous winners in previous years.  This years winners have been chosen and congratulations should go out to all of them.
