Dear Bulldog Family,
It’s hard to believe that this school year is almost over. Let’s make the best of the last few weeks that we have together. Instead of counting down the day, make every day count. The 2011-2012 school year has been filled with many great accomplishments and achievements which make us “Proud to be a Bulldog."
To the graduating class of 2012 I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on reaching the next major milestone in your life. With graduation coming up you are going to begin the next phase of your life and I am confident that your experience at FPC will help you with your future endeavors. It took an entire community of students, staff, and faculty working together to help create the memories that you will carry with you for the rest of your lives. We hope that you will always cherish these moments, look back at your time in high school in a positive manner, and remember the many people that have encouraged you along the way. If you always remember to “Be a Bulldog,” you will be successful in all that you do.
To our current 9th, 10th, and 11th graders that are coming back for the 2012-2013 school year, we are looking forward to your arrival and are excited to have you back for another year. Many of you have completed your course selection sheets for next year, and I encourage everyone to meet with your guidance counselor if you have not already done so to make sure that you are still on track with your academic plan before leaving for the summer. Next year we are looking forward to expanding our Positive Behavioral Support program to continually recognize students that are going above and beyond, expanding our academic programs and offerings, and continuing to excel in athletics and extracurricular activities. We are proud of our “Bulldogs” and that is why FPC is “Florida’s Proudest Campus”.
To the parents and community I want to make sure that everyone knows that at FPC we believe our students are capable of achieving at the highest levels. We are committed to making sure that each child reaches his or her potential to be competitive in the 21st century. If that is not happening, we need to know so that we can continue to grow and make student learning and success our number one priority. Communication between the school and home is something we are always trying to improve, and we value your feedback.
Educationally Yours,
Jacob Oliva
